Website cost in Greece 2026: prices for a small business

A website for a small business in Greece costs from 590 euro in 2026 for a presentation site, from 1,490 for an e-shop and from 2,500 for a custom web app, if you hire a freelancer who publishes his prices. The amount is agreed in writing before the work starts and does not change halfway.

What decides the price of a website?

The price follows how much work the site needs. Pages count, and so do languages, features (bookings, payments, user accounts) and who writes the copy and supplies the photos. Links to other systems, such as an ERP or invoicing software, count as well.

The final figure does not depend on the hours I sit at it. It is agreed in writing before we start and does not grow because something changed halfway.

How much does a website cost for a small business or a freelancer?

A presentation site is usually enough for a freelancer or a small business: a few pages, a map, a contact form, technical SEO and structured data. It starts at 590 euro and ships in three to five days from the moment I have your copy and photos.

If you also sell online, an e-shop starts at 1,490 euro and ships in three to five weeks. You can also begin with a simple site and add the store later without throwing anything away.

Website builder, WordPress or custom: where does the cost differ?

Builders publish their prices. On 12 October 2026 their official pages showed: Wix from $17 to $39 a month on the Light, Core and Business plans with a yearly subscription, before tax (wix.com/plans), Squarespace from 11 to 29 euro a month on Basic, Core and Advanced, billed annually (squarespace.com/pricing), and Framer 10 euro for Basic and 30 euro for Pro a month, billed yearly, plus tax (framer.com/pricing). These pages change by country, currency and tax, so check the price at the checkout step before you decide.

A builder subscription runs as long as the site exists: at $29 a month, three years come to about $1,044 before the domain and add-ons. My price from 590 euro is one-off and you pay only the domain and hosting separately. A builder is still a sensible way to test an idea in a few hours. I do not publish a WordPress price, because it depends on theme, plugins and hosting.

What do I pay for besides the build?

Domain and hosting. They have their own yearly cost, written into the quote, and the domain renews every year. Maintenance is optional: if you later need changes or security updates, you either pay per job or we agree monthly support.

FAQ

How much does a simple 5-page website cost?

It depends on languages, features and who writes the copy and supplies the photos. Presentation sites start at 590 euro, and the exact figure for your five pages goes in a written quote before any work starts.

Is the price you give me final?

Yes. The quote states the amount, what is included and when it ships. There is no hourly billing and the invoice does not grow because something changed halfway. If you ask for something that was not agreed, we price it before I do it.

Is SEO included in the price?

Technical SEO is included: structure, speed, structured data, a sitemap and Search Console setup. Ongoing work on new pages and articles is agreed separately. Nobody can guarantee a Google position.

Can I start with a simple site and add an e-shop later?

Yes, and it is often the right order. The site is built so the store can sit on top of it without changing the URLs that already rank. The addition is priced then, not now.

Are there hidden costs?

No. The only expenses outside the quote are the domain and hosting, with a yearly cost written into the quote.

Kyriakos Kaitezidis is a full-stack web developer based in Xanthi, Greece. He builds websites, e-shops and web applications end to end (frontend, backend, database and deployment) under the business name KlawsFX, for clients across Greece. What is KlawsFX?

KlawsFX is the web development practice of Kyriakos Kaitezidis, a one-developer studio based in Xanthi, Greece. Despite the "FX" in the name it is not a visual-effects studio and not a Forex or trading brand: it builds websites, e-shops and web apps at a fixed price agreed in writing before the work starts.
