Coastal wedding by the sea at golden hour

After eleven years, one very long-distance start, and a proposal she still claims she saw coming — we're getting married where the land runs out and the sea begins. We'd love you there.

Our story

Eleven years, told the
only way we know — slowly.

Spring 2015

How we met

A mutual friend's nameday in Thessaloniki. Andréas spilled retsina on Eléni's shoe within the first ten minutes. She forgave him by dessert, mostly because he kept refilling everyone's water without being asked.

2016 – 2019

The long way around

Three years and roughly forty flights between Athens and Munich. We learned each other in airport cafés and 1am phone calls. Whoever says distance kills it never tried this hard to keep something alive.

Autumn 2023

The proposal

A quiet cove near Sithonia, the same one from our first trip together. No drone, no crowd — just a ring he'd carried for two weeks waiting for the nerve. She said yes before he finished the sentence.

The wedding day

Everything that came before, in one evening, with the people who carried us here. Vows at sunset, dinner under the pines, and dancing until the music gives up before we do.

Wedding ceremony setup

The day

A celebration, hour
by unhurried hour.

5:00pm

The ceremony

Gather on the terrace as the sun starts to drop. Vows, a few happy tears, and an aisle that ends at the water.

6:00pm

Drinks & golden hour

Cold wine, mezédes, and a string trio while the photographer steals us away for twenty minutes.

7:00pm

Dinner under the pines

A long table, one menu, no speeches that run too long (we promise). Seasonal, local, and far too much of it.

9:00pm

Dancing

First dance, then the floor opens and stays open. Comfortable shoes encouraged; the band knows the old songs.

The venue

Aktí Olía,
Sithonia.

A family-run estate where the olive grove runs right down to a private bay. Stone terraces, old pines, and the kind of light that makes everyone look like they're in love — convenient, since most of you will be there for exactly that reason.

Will you be
there with us?

Just the basics. We'll follow up about menus, songs you can't live without, and where to sleep.

Will you attend?

This is a demo form — no message is actually sent.

Good to know

The little details.

Where to stay

We've blocked rooms at two nearby hotels in Vourvourou and Néos Marmarás. Mention "Eléni & Andréas" when booking for our rate. Details land in your inbox once you RSVP.

Dress code

Garden formal, with the sea in mind. Linen suits, long dresses, earthy and soft tones welcome. Block heels over stilettos — the terrace is beautiful but it's still stone.

Gifts

Your presence is genuinely the gift. If you'd still like to give something, we're putting it toward a long honeymoon walking the Peloponnese — there's a small registry link in your RSVP follow-up.

"We're not throwing a party.
We're gathering our favourite people
in one beautiful place — come."
